Hillyard HEART TEAM Hosts Fundraiser to Support Local Families in Need

On Thursday, October 16, 2024, the Hillyard HEART TEAM hosted a successful Community Impact Fundraising Event at the St. Joseph Pizza Ranch. This event brought together members of the St. Joseph community to enjoy a meal while supporting a worthy cause. Ten percent of the night’s proceeds were donated to the HEART TEAM, a group of dedicated Hillyard employees passionate about giving back. The funds from this event will go directly toward the families they adopt each Christmas through AFLCIO’s Adopt-A-Family program and Inter-Serv’s Senior Angel Tree.

Founded in 1996 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the HEART TEAM has long been committed to positively impacting the community. Over the years, they have partnered with numerous organizations, including AFL-CIO Community Services, Inter-Serv Seniors Angel Tree, United Way, Second Harvest of Greater St. Joseph, and Habitat for Humanity.
